Go to your web browser and type in https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0/r/week
This will take you to your Google Calendar page. Make sure you are logged into your Google account.

Navigate to the "Date" you want to create the event. You can use the calendar view options (day, week, month) to find the right date.
Click on the date on the calendar where you want to add your event.

Click on the "More Options"

Click the "Add Title" field.
Fill in the event title

Enter the event location

You can also add a description, and adjust the time zone if needed.
