Navigate to https://maps.google.com/?authuser=0

To change the "Color" of map icon follow this steps.
You see right now the icon color is orange and we need to change it to green.

Click the "Paint Bucket" icon.

Select a "New Color" from the palette.
Now choose your preset color so I'm choosing a green gradient.

Here's the "Color" of our map icon is change.
You can see the icon change from orange to green.
