Select the portion of "Text" you want to superscript.

Click on the "Format" to access the text formatting options.

And find the superscript option from the dropdown menu

Press "Ctrl + . " and it will do the same thing as navigating through the menus and selecting superscript.
Just use the shortcut again to alternate between superscript and normal
