Start Excel and open the workbook that contains the table you want to modify.
This ensures you are working on the correct document.

Click anywhere "Inside" the table.
This action activates the table and makes the table design (or "Table Tools") tab appear on the ribbon.

Look for the "Table Design" tab in the ribbon at the top of the Excel window.
This tab contains all the options related to table formatting and design.

Click on the "Convert to Range" button in the "Tools" group on the menubar.
This option removes table formatting but keeps the data. A prompt may appear asking if you want to convert the table to a normal range click 'Yes'

If you want to remove any remaining "Formatting" (like colors, bold text, etc.), select the range of "Cells" that was previously formatted as a table.
This step is optional but useful if you want a completely clean look without any previous formatting.

Click on to the "Home" tab
Find the Editing group,
