Navigate to
https://app.asana.com/-/login

Click on "Details" of a task under My Tasks section.
Next to the task for which you want to create a dependency.

Click "Add dependencies"

Select the task you would like to use as a block to the current task.

Click "Close details"

Select the task you have now used as a block.

When you open the details pane, you will see that this task is now blocking the first task we looked at.
